You have
just made the most important decision of your life!
Welcome to
the body of Christ! The Angels are
rejoicing, and so are we, because of the decision you have made to live a new
life in Christ Jesus!
Today, you
prayed a prayer asking Jesus Christ to come into your life, fill your heart,
and to be your Lord and Savior.
According to Romans 10:9-10, when you prayed today, you received the
gift of salvation. “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and
believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be
saved. For with the heart one believes
unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Your salvation is a gift. It is not something you earned because you
were good enough or deserved it.
Ephesians 2:8-9 says “For by grace you have been saved through faith,
and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone
should boast.” Your salvation was given
to you by God, through praying, confessing, and believing in the finished work
of Jesus Christ on the cross, and no one can take away your salvation, nor can
you lose it. When you asked God for
forgiveness today, the Blood of Jesus covered your sins and God no longer sees
you as guilty.
So, what
now?
You have
become a new creation in Christ.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he (she) is a new creation; old
things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Over the
next twenty-one days we want to help you develop this new you! Experts say it takes twenty-one days to
create new habits. These next twenty-one
days, and this guide, will help you establish your life in Christ, learn to
read and study His Word, spend time in worship and prayer, give you resources
and ideas, and answer some questions you might have.
